Pricing

Verified fact: POM pricing, 2026-09-16.

Line Price
First user $125/mo
Each extra user $25/mo
QuickBooks Online +$25/mo
Activation Unpublished on the fetched 2026-09-16 pricing HTML. Status is a GAP.

Examples: 1 user $125 ($150 with QBO); 3 users $175 ($200 with QBO). Month-to-month. Users can be turned off in the slow season (vendor site).

What you are paying for

Seasonal seats, map routing, a chemical calculator, inventory tied to jobs (ToolRadar), and e-signed quotes. QuickBooks Online two-way sync is the accounting hook, and it is a paid add-on. Desktop is documented as one-way POM to Desktop, batch. See the QuickBooks guide.

Pool Founder’s comparison describes the mobile app as slow or crashy. That is a third-party complaint, not a test we ran. Bring your phones to the trial.

If you do not need inventory, contracts, and QBO, price Paythepoolman and Skimmer first. Per-user versus location: Pool Office Manager vs Skimmer. Per-user versus seat: Pool Office Manager vs Jobber. Per-user versus technician: Pool Office Manager vs Pool Brain. Per-user versus base-plus-tech: Pool Office Manager vs Paythepoolman. Per-user versus technician-and-customer-cap: Pool Office Manager vs Poolside. No hands-on test.

Verdict

Editorial judgment

POM is for shops that need repair quotes, inventory, and QuickBooks in one system, especially if they can shut seats off in winter. A solo tech who only needs invoices and a stop list will likely overpay. Demo the mobile app on your actual phones.

Third-party operator comment

Third-party summaries from public review sites, app stores, trade press, or vendor trust pages. These are not PoolProStack hands-on reviews, and they are not anonymous star ratings we invented. Each item links to the source and shows when it was published and when we retrieved it.

Public review volume is thin. Software Finder lists 2 verified reviews (4.5), last updated March 2, 2026. ToolRadar (checked March 19, 2026) tracked 2 reviews across Capterra and SourceForge. The App Store listing showed 2.4/5 from 8 ratings when opened 2026-09-04. Google Play listed 24 reviews (21 in the reviews block) and was last updated August 31, 2026; this retrieval did not show a Play star average. No G2 listing was found. Do not treat two Software Finder writeups as a large sample.

Visible Google Play reviews said the app logs techs out, freezes, and loads prior jobs slowly. One multi-year reviewer said support handled update issues quickly and that the product stayed usable after more than three years. The listing showed 24 reviews when opened 2026-09-04 and was last updated August 31, 2026. This retrieval did not show a star average on that page.
